WAD:
The installation "WAD," speaks about fantasy and function and how relationships affect these ideas. It also expresses my personal frustration with social and romantic relationships in a large urban environment. Additionally, I investigate how the quality of life differs from the Midwest, much like the printed toilet paper. Discarded. Overlooked. Disposable.

bitter-sweetbitter-sweet: These images are from a thesis project that took one year to complete while at LSU. The installation was divided up into six life size rooms to encourage interaction. Each room had a mono or di-chromatic setup so that the images would stand out from the space. The rooms were divided within the gallery space as separate stage scenes or full scale interactive diaramas. The order has been maintained as if you are entering the gallery space to simulate the original experience. The space includes a coat room: "Dorothy's Closet" (key chain images), living room: "Trash" (printed letters), dining room: "Tricks Are For Trolls" (oversized trading cards), bathroom: "Potty-Mouth" (hand mirrors), kitchen: "Light in the Loafers" (oversized magnets), and bedroom: "Gay-Dar" (pillows). To engage the viewer, all of the pieces incorporated both image and text.
