These photographs were completed in the 1997 & 1998. They are an example of my first formal approach to photography and how it compared to other media. I chose myself as a muse in exploring theatrical techniques accompanied by a very helpful timer on my newly purchased "used" camera.

I never felt as though these photos stood on their own with the exception of "table." However this process was invaluable and open the doors to the use of the camera within my artwork. Since graduate school, I have continued to incorporate photos into my imagery through transfers onto wood, paper, etc.
